I thought this article was particularly interesting because it explains the difference between real science and pseudoscience and also suggests that pseudoscience is no completely useless, it is just not actual science. People believe in pseudoscience because it gets a credibility boost by cleverly mimicking the surface appearance of real science. The main difference between science and pseudoscience is that pseudoscience is set up to look for evidence that supports its claims, while science is set up to look for evidence that challenges its claims. In other words, pseudoscience seeks confirmations while science seeks falsifications. Scientific claims are testable and pseudoscience claims are not.
