Post 3: Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is a pseudoscience based on the usage of aromatic materials, including essential oils and other aroma compounds, that are claimed to improve psychological and physical health. The "proven benefits" of aromatherapy include ridding yourself of; depression, wrinkles, sprains, fears, stress, motion sickness, and even insomnia. The way you participate in aromatherapy is by first buying whatever scented oils or candles you like and then begin smelling them while in a bath or in any other room. I agree with some of the findings of aromatherapy, but I don't believe that it should be called therapy. If someone can lose some of their stress by being in a room with a scented candle then that is great, but it shouldn't be thought of as therapy in my opinion.
