Blog post 3 Y2K

Y2K was one of the biggest end of the world scares of my lifetime, people thought simply because the millennia was ending so would the world. They believed that all the computers of the world would crash, planes would fall from the sky and every missile would be launched. The reason people believed this is because the real outcome was not predicted by everyone so people didn't know what was going to happen. The only real truth from Y2K was that computers would fail, this was only a half truth though because most would likely just reset their internal clock.  People who worked with computers had to spend days updating every system just so the computers would continue to work properly.
