I found this topic to be interesting. An out of body experience or OBE is said to be unreliable in the nature that they do in fact occur. I have had lucid dreams but never an OBE. We have all heard peoples stories of having an OBE, however it is impossible to validate the experience scientifically. I work in a facility where I see the worst time of peoples lives. I have seen many people die. I have also taken care of many people that were declared brain dead. I often wonder if they are present in the room with me and their families. According to Lawson, "10%- 20% of the population have experienced an OBE". Lawson also stated that "OBE's occur in near death experiences and drug-induced states". I deal with both of these situations and I feel it is possible that someone has had this experience.
