UFOs

UFO = Unidentified Flying Object. You would think that there has to be someone flying these crafts and whose to say that the pilot can't be from another planet? It seems hard to believe at first, but if you think about it it's very possible that there is actually life on other planets. It's also possible that these beings from other planets are curious and want to explore other planets and the life that exists on them. One of the most famous stories about UFOs was probably the Roswell UFO incident in which there was an alleged recovery of an extraterrestrial spacecraft as well as alien beings discovered near Roswell, New Mexico in 1947.Some people have actually gone as far as claiming they have been abducted by these extraterrestrial beings and were forced to take part in various experiments conducted by their abductors. Realistically, evidence supports that these claims are false. Each encounter that is described has basically the sae details and it is very possible that the "abductees" are having false memories. A lot of the people claiming they have been abducted did not remember their abduction until they were hypnotized. Hynosis is not very strong evidence especially because the person performing the hynosis can create the false memories. In the book I'm reading, Why People Believe Weird Things by Michael Shermer, there's a chapter about false memories. It talks about studies that have been done proving that hynosis and even talking with therapists or interrogations with the police can create false memories in people's heads. In the book it goes into further dicussion about how this happens a lot with sexual abuse, but it proves that it can and does happen. Also, this book talks about the Roswell Incident and how it is fake including the film that Fox News aired, "Roswell Incident," which showed the alleged autopsy of an alledged autopsy of an alien found in the wreckage. With that being said, there's no proof that the people claiming they have been abducted actually have, but there isn't really any concrete proof that they haven't. I mean who knows, maybe the world is actually like Men in Black and giant bugs are roaming the sewers of NYC. I guess we'll never know... :)
